World Medical Tourism refers to the practice of traveling internationally to receive medical treatment or care. This burgeoning industry has gained momentum in recent years due to various factors such as rising healthcare costs in developed countries, advancements in medical technology, and the ease of global travel.

Dr Jennifer Martinick developed special interest in hair transplantation in 1978. She attended, on a regular basis, international conferences to update her skills and by 1998 she was actively participating in international conferences including conducting seminars, workshops and lecturing tours.
Dr. Pathomvanich, MD, is certified and recertified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the IDHRS. He was honored as Pioneer by the International Hair Forum for his work with donor area harvesting, Asian hair, and with bringing state-of-the-art hair restoration to Thailand. He was on the original International Advisory Committee for the ISHRS American College of Surgeons
